After beginning a career in the Australian Defence Force, Lainie resigned and began her Physiotherapy degree. She graduated in 2004 from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours. Her Honours Thesis involved research on the reaction times of older adults and the implications to the risk of falls.
She began working with Barry Gavin's team at the end of 2004 and has now also joined the partnership. Lainie works across all of the practices and at Warringal Private Hospital. Lainie also has experience with football clubs at the local level, working at the Templestowe Football Club for two years, where she gained knowledge and experience in assessing and managing acute sporting injuries.
Lainie also conducts one hydrotherapy class per week at the Reservoir Aquatic Centre on a Tuesday. She is also experienced in clinical pilates and conducts both one on one pilates sessions and group pilates classes. |
