Josh graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) in 2009 from the University of Melbourne. Prior to undertaking his Physiotherapy degree, he both studied and was later employed in science, information technology and business. During the course of his physiotherapy degree, Josh was exposed to many different clinical situations at leading Melbourne hospitals and private practices including musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiorespiratory, geriatric, paediatric and sports physiotherapy.
Josh has a keen interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and in particular sporting injuries. Throughout his degree he has worked closely with Old Scotch Victorian Amateur A Grade Football Club and has continued his involvement since completing his degree. In his role as team physiotherapist, Josh is responsible for pre-match preparation, managing acute injuries and supervising injury rehabilitation.
Josh commenced working at Total Physiocare in March 2010 and is currently working at both clinics and at Warringal Private Hospital. He conducts hydrotherapy classes at Reservoir Aquatic Centre on a Friday. |
